  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for a vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground, to taste

Method
 

Combine Ingredients
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuing to whisk until the dressing is emulsified.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer the vinaigrette to a jar with a lid and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

Shake well before using. This vinaigrette can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
