Fries
  • 2 large sweet potatoes peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika optional, for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional, for flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into fry shapes, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
Baking
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the fries in a single layer on the baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the cut sweet potatoes in water for 30 minutes before baking, then dry thoroughly.
